A young woman was pulled over in Morgantown, WV for speeding. As the WV State Trooper walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, ‘I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the West Virginia State Police Ball.’

He replied, ‘ West Virginia State Troopers don’t have balls.’

There was a moment of silence while she smiled and he realized what he’d just said. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left. She was laughing too hard to start her car.

He made it home around 3:30 on Saturday and I was beyond thrilled. After a little wiener humping quality time, we got something to eat and I had to leave for a party. Yesterday we spent the majority of the day grocery shopping so when can 1. eat as a family now and 2. to stop eating like college kids who are broke.

I have my family back. I can’t begin to explain how good that feels.

Ok… off to WH

He is 20 miles from Nashville and finds it hysterical that I am tracking him ala Santa.

I told him he was better than Santa cause he puts out

But my hubby is 12 hours from home. That is if he drove straight through, which he won’t . So just be prepared with updates on his whereabouts until he gets home. After he gets home there will some.. ummm down time on the blog… due to wiener humping…

John is on his way home as we speak. He is somewhere in GA. Hopefully getting close to Hotlanta. I finally finished painting the kitchen today. I am a huge procrastinator so apprently it took him calling and saying I’m on my way for me to get off my fat ass and finish.

So WOO HOO for him being home tomorrow. Hopefully before I have to leave for MKE.

Seriously?

I had no clue who this chick was until Idol Gives Back. Apparently unless you have a pre-pubescent daughter, you shouldn’t know who she is.

While I think her performance on Idol was crap, You must realize that she is 15 years old. Do I approve of the pics that she had taken? NO I don’t. But at the same time, My kid isn’t my claim to fame and paying the mortgage. Everyone is going to have their opinion and that is their right. I just feel that if – A. Her parents knew about the pictures, stand up and be accounted for and if B- You had no clue than WTF were you doing leaving your 15 yr old alone???
Seriously- this is the shit we are talking about.

Also, children of parents who used to smoke weed hold an extra special place in my heart.

So 2 of my IRL friends are getting married. So today a stock the bar shower was hosted for them.  First of all props to all the ladies that hosted the shower. Second, I had no clue vodka was still so popular.

I just want to mention a few highlights that stick in my mind.

1. Having someone (Sheila) squeal when she sees you, makes you very very happy.

2. Getting attacked and smooshed outside an elevator by Steph will also make you very happy

3. Seeing someone who you haven’t seen in over a year and they are now pregnant with twins ( HI THOR & TWILA ) And her allowing you to feel up her belly and at the same time get a little weirded out by Thor and his kicking was a huge highlight.

4. Meeting Tara and realizing that I am only 2 degrees away from Tom Cruise. Not that I want to be that close but I’ll take what celebrity fame I can get.

5. Hanging out with a bunch of women who I picked up online. Seriously, IRL friends are soooooooo overrated. I’m just saying.

6. Best. Artichoke.Dip. EVER- Oh em gee… So yummy I want some right now. You have no idea

7. Sheilas mom- Awesome ass condo, to the point I was told on the way home that there will be no MAJOR renovations when he gets home. Phhpppt whatever.

8. Realizing that no matter where you meet your friends or how frequently you HO it out, There are always there for you. No matter what

9. Hug A HO train is the best train to be on. I’m just sayin’

Waking up at 5:30 AM on a Sunday morning and not being able to fall back asleep.

So I downloaded Madonnas’ new album this morning from iTunes and I have to say, its pretty freaking good.

It helps that JT, Kayne West and Timbaland produced it.
