and I will be back in WI. Granted it’s only for the weekend but it’s something. I get to see almost all my friends and I am extremely excited because one of them is getting married Friday night, Which is the reason I am flying home. Seeing all my other friends is just icing on the cake.

Starts with breaking news. Guess which story it was
1. Mom of 2 murdered due to random act of violence
2. UCF announces key player won’t be back next year.
If you guessed football you’d be right. Really? A football story beats how a mom was murdered in broad daylight for no fucking reason.
THIS is why I don’t watch the news.
Lions and Tigers and Politics, OH MY
Why is it that when it comes to politics and religion that people can’t have a normal civilized conversation?
Why is it that most people try and convert the other person to their views and their opinions? I just don’t understand it.
Now I have never really gotten into politics. I just honestly haven’t cared that much. But after 8 years of the Moron, I, like the rest of America is ready for a change. I am glad that we have a woman and an African American running. I love that we have a Law and Order actor in the running ( yes I know he has a political background)
Now I have always voted Democrat, mainly because of the abortion issue. But as I was reading the last week all the candidates views on all the issues, I don’t know who I am going to vote for. I love me Guliani until it gets to the abortion and marriage issues. Then there is Hillary with her universal healthcare. Yeah in theory it’s a great idea until you can’t get in to see a doctor for 6 months. How many Canadians right now cross over just to see a Dr.?
Granted, I don’t know a lot about the issues but I know what I would like to see.
I would like to see ALL of our troops home. Let every other country deal with their own bullshit. It’s not our problem.
I would like to see less violence, more education for our children.
I would like to see a more unified happier United States.
Oh and I don’t want to be scared shitless everytime I get in my car that some 15 yr old punk whacked out on drugs doesn’t shoot me cause I cut him and his friend off.

This year seems to have flown by and hopefully the next few months will as well.
So much has happened over the last year. My husband got promoted, We moved to Florida, Our son has started puberty, I have realized what true friends and family are and you can make your own family.
I realized that you can’t take anything for granted and that you have to do what’s right and what’s best for you and your mental health.
I realized that I can go to Vegas and not come home with an unexplained video and a new ring. I learned Vegas can be fun without getting smashed.
I realized some of the easiest decisions can be the hardest ones to live with.
I have realized that if your husband says no to another dog, You should probably believe him and not try to sneak one in.
